A Fragile Thing by Arvilla Fee

Lina Jan

A Fragile Thing

held between breaths

beneath closed lashes

in that space of time

just before the sun

presses petal pink

and citrus orange

into the inky flesh

of morning sky— silence is a fragile thing

  1. I love these lines:

    just before the sun
    presses petal pink
    and citrus orange
    into the inky flesh
    of morning sky—
