KEEP GOIN’ by Mark Brine

KEEP GOIN’

When the Sun shines through the naked trees

On a cold ‘n wintery day

‘n your nose is running from the nip of the wind

Despite the bright of rays

Still, you walk along, unfettered …

With your purpose set in mind

Of gazing on God’s glorious artwork

In the stillness that you find

It’s no different than the toils of life

When everything’s goin’ wrong

Yes, keep right on ‘a movin’…

Until the negative is gone

For regret is worse than failure

Hey, at least, you gave a try

‘n every Season.. has its worth

‘n with the Springtime, you’ll know why!
