Falling out of the universe
Falling out of the universe where would we go?
To circle a different sun
where dancing stars sparkle in new heaven?
Would we be swallowed deep into black hole,
consumed by dying void?
Or would we embrace new birth
through forgotten memory restored—
seen, touched and tasted
as if for the first time,
as if we had never been separated
from that which bore us in timeless moment?
Can we disappear from Creation’s call,
from infinite embrace
outside time as we know it
into alpha and omega
where beginning and ending
complete the circle?
