In Hiding by Nolcha Fox

In Hiding

Hope is the eternal child.

She loves to play hide-and-seek.

I find her peeking through

sunrise clouds she painted

purple, pink, and gold.

I find her disguised

as windblown snowflakes.

I find her wet footprints

on the bathroom floor,

weaving a path of joy.
