a poem 

by, for or about 

Charles Bukowski.  

 

he is not 

on my radar 

 

and 

his poems 

no longer speak 

to me the way they used to.  

 

truth be told, 

the only thing his 

poems do for me now 

 

is 

show me 

that he’s dead,

 

i’m not...

 

and 

some day 

soon will be.
